The series Equilibrated Evolution is inspired by the work and live of the artist Piet Mondriaan.

Lustre and Lux are inspired by his early paintings of trees and forests. The 'Wall Works' were the starting point for Drawing Pins and Hexagon. And Bandy Legs and Foxtrot were created by the fascination of the unfinished painting Victory Boogie Woogie.
